Fabric dye (powder) for dyeing in the washing machine. Fabric dye is suitable for re-dying clothes, updating the tone, etc.

One pack of paint can dye up to 600 g of dry weight fabric (e.g. long trousers, bath towel, cover) in full brightness, up to 1.2 kg (e.g. down blanket) in a lighter shade.

• Cotton, linen and viscose are dyed in full brightness.
• Polyester/cotton and polyester/viscose blends will turn a slightly lighter shade.
• Wool, silk, polyester, acrylic, nylon fabrics cannot be dyed with this dye.
• By using several packages at the same time, it is possible to paint larger amounts of material in a full shade, e.g. with 2 packages of 1200g (e.g., a down blanket) or 3 packages of 1800g (e.g., curtains).

INSTRUCTION

• Weigh the dry fabric to make sure you have enough paint.
• Wash the fabric thoroughly, even if it is new, to get rid of stains or invisible chemical coatings.
• The fabric should not have been pre-washed with fabric softener.
• Using rubber gloves, empty the contents of the sachet into the metal drum of the washing machine (not into the detergent/softener compartment!).
• Add 500g of salt, sprinkling it over the paint powder (500g is needed for 1 pack of paint).
• Turn the garment inside out.
• Place a damp, unfolded piece of fabric/clothing in the washing machine.
• Run the 40°C cotton cycle (do not use the "pre-wash", "economy" or "half load" cycles).
• When finished, add washing powder (in the compartment provided) and run the 40°C cotton cycle again.
• Remove the fabric/clothing from the washing machine, add washing powder and run an empty washing machine on a 40°C cycle to clean it.
• Dry the fabric/clothing, avoiding direct heat or sunlight.
