Soft velvet upholstery fabric for indoor furniture. The upholstery fabric is suitable for upholstering sofas, chairs, and decorative pillows, as well as for sewing various accessories.
The fabric is designed with water-repellent properties. The fabric material is coated with a special (impregnated) protective layer that prevents immediate absorption of liquids into the fabric. Instead of immediately soaking in, the liquid remains on the surface of the material, allowing time to easily clean the fabric surface with a soft cloth or paper towel.
Fabric properties:
- Matte
- Thick
- Soft with a velvet effect, pleasant to the touch
- Elegant appearance
- The velvety surface is smooth, it does not leave "marks"

Fabric tear strength – this indicates how strong the fabric (woven threads – warp and weft) is under various surface and load conditions. This coefficient is expressed in Newtons (N); the higher the Newtons, the more durable the fabric. For heavy load conditions, at least 60 N is required.
Pilling test – fabrics with a coefficient of 3 may have a risk of fiber matting (pilling). It is recommended to choose a fabric with a coefficient of 4.
Color fastness to light – a fabric with a coefficient of 4-5 is sufficient for home use, but it is not recommended to leave furniture in direct sunlight, as the color may fade and white spots may appear on the fabric. If the furniture is intended for use on a veranda or near a window with open sunlight, it is necessary to choose a fabric with a coefficient of 6.
Martindale abrasion test (abrasion resistance) – simulates the natural wear of a seat cover, where a textile sample is rubbed against a standard abrasive surface with a specific force. For home use, a fabric with 30,000 cycles is sufficient after testing; for restaurants and hotels, 50,000 is required.
