Mičošana is a wedding ritual that symbolizes the transition to a new phase of life - marriage. Mičošana usually takes place at midnight when a new day begins. The veil falls, the new wife's wreath is exchanged for a wife's cap, and the newlyweds transition into the roles of husband and wife. This ritual is a significant cultural heritage that forms and strengthens the bond between newlyweds, symbolizing love, unity, and belonging.
