Tips: Cutting faux fur requires a slightly different technique than cutting regular fabric. The goal is to maintain the look of the pile at the edges of the fur. The pile of the fabric should not be cut. It is recommended to use a razor, a sharp craft knife, or scissors for cutting. The desired shape is easily drawn with tailor's chalk or a disappearing marker on the reverse side of the fabric. Pay attention to the direction of the fabric's pile. The fabric should be cut carefully from the reverse side, cutting only one layer of fabric at a time. Once the fabric is cut, gently separate the fabric parts; the pile will separate, and it will not have blunt, cut ends.
