Adhesive tape for waterproof materials is used for sports clothing, softshell jackets, windbreakers, backpacks, etc. The tape is durable both when worn and washed. The adhesive tape is suitable for areas where moisture ingress needs to be prevented. It effectively covers seams.
The tape is elastic, three-layered – it consists of nylon fabric, a waterproof PU membrane film, and specially developed hot melt adhesive. Thanks to the unique composition of the adhesive, the tape remains soft and flexible after application.
The tape is used for sealing seams of outerwear and is suitable for heavy fabrics – jackets, sports pants, workwear, coats, tents, and other materials.
When ironing the tape, it is recommended to use heat-resistant paper. Ironing temperature 150–180 °C. We recommend observing the recommended ironing temperature for the material. ALWAYS check the iron temperature on a scrap piece of material to avoid damaging and wearing out the tape.
Usage:
- Place the tape in the desired location with the adhesive side on the fabric
- Cover with heat-resistant paper and press firmly with an iron (use a temperature suitable for the material) for 5-10 seconds
- Do not wash the fabric for 48 hours after ironing
- Before application, first test on a small piece of fabric.
We tried it on cotton fabric. We placed the tape with the adhesive side on the seam, covered it with heat-resistant paper, and ironed over it with an iron, using a little steam. The tape covers the seam well and adheres to the fabric.
